Chairman of Expert Committee and Imaging Expert Panel of Beijing Beiya Hospital

He is a famous imaging pathologist in the world, the Chairman of Chinese Society of Medical Imaging, a professor of Peking University and a chief physician of Jishuitan Hospital of Peking University. Consultation time: Tuesday morning.

Prof. Wang Yunzhao graduated from Medical Department of Medical College of Peking University in 1950. He used to be a chief physician of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, a professor of Medical College of Peking University, and Director of X-ray Pathology Research Laboratory. He has worked on diagnostic radiology for 46 years.
In 1962, X-ray Pathology Research Laboratory was established, which focuses on clinical and basic research on radiological pathology. He has published more than 150 theses and involved as editor in chief the compilation of Bone Radiology, Radiology, X-ray Diagnosis for Bone Joint Trauma, Analysis of X-ray Diagnosis on Skeletal Fluorosis and other books with regard to radiology. He has won 13 awards issued by National Science Conference and ministerial/municipal-level awards for his outstanding performance in research of bone infection, bone tumor, nutrition-related bone diseases and endemic bone diseases. In addition, he also opened national bone radiology training classes organized by the Ministry of Health for 24 times and trained 8 Masters. In 1990, he was awarded with a certificate of outstanding contribution and enjoyed Government Special Subsidy.
