He graduated from Henan Bone Setting College after accomplishing an undergraduate course. Later on, he attended a two-year orthopaedic class at Shanghai No.2 Medical University. He has engaged in orthopaedic clinical work for over 40 years and has work experience in the clinic and research of orthopaedic trauma, spine, orthopedics and bone diseases. He has in-depth studies on ankylosing spondylitis, bone necrosis and osteoarthrosis. He has written 15 theses, won 3 prizes for scientific research and made one ministerial scientific research achievement. He is a member of China Committee for Spine and Spinal Cord Injury, a member of China Society for Research of Orthopedic Surgery, a special correspondent of Orthopaedic Journal of China and a member of Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine. He was selected as an advanced worker and an excellent CPC member for many times. In 1992, he was awarded the title of advanced worker by the Coordinating Committee for the Disabled under the State Council. Now it is Vice Leader of the Bone Disease Research Team of Beijing Beiya Hospital.
