Xiao Zhengquan was born of a famous TCM family. He is the ninth-generation medical successor of Xiao’s family and an academic inheritor of Prof. Xiao Guanyi, one of the top 100 old TCM physicians recognized by the government. He has got the real skills of his grandfather. Prof. Xiao Zhengquan has taken a Master’s Degree course taught by Tutor Li Ji of Basic Medical School of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, an EMBA course of Peking University, an MBA course of Tsinghua University, a Management Bachelor’s course of American Preston University, and a Management Doctor’s course of Swiss Victoria University.

At present, Prof. Xiao Zhengquan is a member of the Standing Committee of Femoral Head Necrosis Academic Committee under the Traumatology & Orthopaedics Sub-Association of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vice Chairman of Femoral Head Necrosis Academic Committee under the Traumatology & Orthopaedics Sub-Society of Chinese Talents Society, Standing Member of Medical Society of Chaoyang District, Beijing, a professor of International Huatuo College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Executive Director of Bone Disease Teaching Base of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a visiting professor of Wuhan Institute for Medical Science, an expert of the bank of experts for technical appraisal on medical accidents under the Medical Society of Chaoyang District, Beijing and former director of the Research Laboratory for Difficult and Complicated Diseases under the S&T Cooperation Center of China Academy of traditional Chinese Medicine. His main works include Modern TCM for Femoral Head Necrosis, Modern TCM Orthopaedic Science, Practical Traumatology & Orthopaedics Dictionary, Yellow Emperor’s Internal Classic: Notes of Su Wen, and Illustrated Muscle and Bone Diseases. He has published dozens of theses including Treat Femoral Head Necrosis by “3 Tonifies and 1 Promote” Therapy. In addition, he has led the research work of a number of national R&D programs and undertaken projects under the National R&D Program set by the Ministry of Science and Technology for the “10th Five-Year Plan” period.
